FedScale has taken a monumental step in modernizing government records management.
READ MOREFedScale has taken a monumental step in modernizing government records management by offering digitization that meets the Federal Agencies Digital Guidelines Initiative (FADGI) 3-star standard. This enhancement not only elevates the quality of digitization services but also sets a new benchmark for the long-term preservation and accessibility of vital government records. With National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) compliance at the core, FedScale’s new capabilities are tailored for accuracy, fidelity, and reliability in preserving historically valuable information.
Why FADGI 3-Star Standards Matter
FADGI, established by NARA, provides a tiered approach to image quality for digitizing permanent federal records. A 3-star rating signifies high image quality and consistency—ideal for records intended for long-term preservation and accessibility. By achieving FADGI 3-star compliance, FedScale ensures that digitized images are as true to the original documents as possible, preserving their integrity for future generations.
Meeting NARA Compliance with Confidence
As government agencies increasingly focus on meeting M-23-07 (formerly M-19-21 Transition to Electronic Records) guidelines, the need for services that meet NARA’s stringent standards grows. FedScale’s FADGI 3-star scanning capabilities directly address this demand, enabling agencies to seamlessly transition to a digital format while staying compliant with standards for archival quality. FedScale ensures that high-resolution, high-fidelity images are captured, making them suitable for permanent records—where compliance isn’t just a recommendation, it’s essential.
Advanced Technologies for Reliable Digitization
FedScale leverages advanced scanning technologies combined with meticulous quality control to achieve FADGI 3-star certification. Our approach preserves essential elements like image sharpness, color accuracy, and tonal response, creating digital copies that maintain their original details.

Our FADGI 3-star capabilities provide federal agencies with significant advantages:
