FedScale Award Notice –

FedScale Inc., a certified 8(a), HUBZone, and Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), has secured a 60-month Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) valued at $4,500,000 with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Office of General Counsel (OGC).

Under this BPA, FedScale will provide Comprehensive Federal Records Management Support to the USDA Office of Information Affairs (OIA), enabling USDA to meet its expanding requirements in information governance, transparency, and compliance.

About the Contract

The BPA establishes a long-term mechanism for USDA to access FedScale’s expertise in records management, compliance, and information lifecycle support. Specifically, FedScale will deliver:

Records Lifecycle Services – capture, governance, storage, and compliant disposition of records.

FOIA and eDiscovery Support – ensuring timely, accurate responses to public and legal information requests.

Process Modernization – integrating federal mandates, automation, and best practices to improve efficiency.

Training and Advisory Services – enabling USDA personnel to sustain compliant records programs.

By leveraging this BPA, USDA OIA will be able to streamline procurement of specialized support services over the next five years, ensuring continuity and scalability as agency requirements evolve.

FEDSCALE INC. has been awarded a two-year contract valued at $2,138,648.48 by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), AFM Acquisition and Property Division (APD). The purpose of this contract is to provide Optimized Facility Closeout Services for the Plum Island Animal Disease Center (PIADC) in Orient Point, New York.

This award was made under Full and Open Competition with a Small Business Administration (SBA) set-aside, awarded on the GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS). Only one bidder was determined to be fully responsive, highlighting the specialized expertise required to support this mission-critical closeout.

The PIADC optimized facility closeout represents a significant federal effort to responsibly manage and transition a high-security facility with national importance. Under this award, FedScale will:

Tara Ranciato, joins us as our Senior Human Resources Manager. As a Senior HR Manager, Tara is working out of our new Clearwater, FL office. Tara will be responsible for developing and maturing our HR related policies and procedures as well as the administration of all associated recurring activities, such as Benefit Administration, Staffing, On-boarding, Performance Reviews, and other employee related support requirements.

Tara has over 20 years of direct HR experience supporting myriad different companies comprised of 150 employees or more. Tara was previously the Director of HR with a manufacturing company supporting the staff at several facility locations. Her industry experience ranges from medical services to a steel forgery and reflects her ability to quickly acclimate to a specific industry while continuing to serve the HR needs of a large employee base. Complementing her breadth of experience, Tara has continued to seek formal education by earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and maintaining a 22-year membership in the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
