Azure Cloud Architect

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to transform data center tools to Cloud based management tools
  • Automate Cloud network deployments using scripts
  • Automate network infrastructure end-to-end including provisioning, management and monitoring
  • Design public cloud networking and security solution
  • Implement, manage and troubleshoot entire network stacks
  • Lead deployment resources for cloud networking projects
  • Lead the overall architecture and design of our cloud network infrastructure including intra and inter data center, and Internet connectivity
  • Manage and administer load balancers, ACLS, network security group (NSG), firewalls, routing
  • Provide On-call Support during off-hours
  • Troubleshooting network virtual appliance and software applications

QUALIFICATIONS


Education

  • 8+ years Cloud and/or Data center Network support experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in IT related field of study.

Certification

  • AWS certifications are a plus
  • Certification in Azure Cloud, preferred

Experience/Skills

  • Azure Networking experience is a MUST (Vnet, Subnet, Azure Firewalls, NSG, etc.)
  • Background in AWS design and AWS native tools preferred
  • Deep technical experience in Cloud and Data center Networking to include experience with one of the following - Cisco Network devices such as ASA, ASR etc, Linux and Unix Networking (bind, smtp, snmp, squid, etc.)
  • Experience in analyzing packet capture traces such as from Sniffer/Wireshark
  • Experience in IPSec VPN, DMVPN, SD-WAN and Azure ExpressRoute
  • Experience in Network Security including IDS/IPS and Firewalls, vulnerability assessment and fixes
  • Experience managing Azure/AWS platforms under federal compliance guidelines
  • Ideal candidate should also possess following skills:

    • Business Analysis and requirements evaluation
    • Vendor relationship
  • Must be public trust eligible

Clearance

  • Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance

Travel

  • This position will require occasional travel to customer facilities within the US.
