SEWP Overview
NASA SEWP (Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement), pronounced “soup,” provides the latest Information Technology, Communication, and Audio-Visual (ITC/AV) solutions and services for all Federal Agencies and their approved contractors. Created in 1993, SEWP I was the first Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) in the federal acquisition space, and has continually evolved over 30 years to meet the needs of its customers — supporting more than 50,000 orders a year across the Federal Government.
Fair Opportunity & Requests for Quotes
Contractors are provided a fair opportunity at the individual order level as appropriate per FAR Part 16.505(b), including through the SEWP RFQ tools. No documentation of the order selection decision is required to be submitted with the order; all such documentation is maintained by the issuing procurement office.
When submitting a quote to a government end-user, FedScale clearly states the length of time the quote is valid and honors any order submitted within that stated period. When responding to an RFI or RFQ issued through the NASA SEWP RFQ online quoting system, FedScale responds as outlined in Attachment C: Contract Holder User Manual (CHUM).
What’s in Scope for SEWP VI
FedScale holds a Category C award under SEWP VI, covering mission-based, program-level ITC/AV services. FedScale is also teamed with a Category A contract holder, extending combined scope to the full range of IT, Communications, and Audio-Visual (ITC/AV) products and solutions available under Category A — giving agencies access to both product acquisition and the mission-focused services needed to implement and sustain them.
